Applied Technology Center (ATC)

For over a decade, the Applied Technology Center (ATC) on GRCC’s downtown campus has been providing excellent technical training, as well as conference services and its various other resources to the Grand Rapids community. In addition, our on-site partnership with Ferris State University enables us to streamline the education process for our students seeking 4-year degrees.

Highlights of the ATC include:

  • 236,000 square feet of space devoted to workforce training.
  • 12,000 people served every week.
  • 575 computer stations with internet access and advanced software applications.
  • 550 machine tools.
  • 1800 apprentices.
  • Teleconferencing / satellite capabilities.
  • Customized training provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • A world-class restaurant.
  • Conference services available to the community.
