Associate Degrees


Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences - Industrial Maintenance Technology
This program prepares students to install, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of industrial machinery used in manufacturing settings. For more information click here.

Associate in Arts
Students who plan to transfer to liberal arts colleges and universities and who wish to pursue a sequence of courses leading to a degree should follow the prescribed curricula found in the Transfer Guide. Students may choose to complete an Associate in Arts with MACRAO (see below).

Associate in Business
Students who desire a specialization in the field of business are encouraged to follow one of the specific curricula outlined in the GRCC catalog.

Associate in General Studies
Students who wish to follow a curriculum with a wide choice of course offerings and who do not intend to transfer to a four-year institution may fulfill requirements and take other electives leading to this associate degree.

The Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers Transfer Agreement - MACRAO

The MACRAO Transfer Agreement is designed to facilitate transfer from community colleges to baccalaureate colleges and universities. It provides for transferability of up to 30 semester credits to meet many (and in some cases all) of the General Education Requirements at participating Michigan four-year colleges and universities. Students may complete the MACRAO Transfer Agreement as part of an associate degree or as a stand-alone package.
