Central High School
Opportunities are availalble for tutoring at Central High School, especially in the areas of Algebra I, Algebra II, Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry. The after-school program runs from 2:55-3:55pm. If you are interested, please download the Grand Rapids Public Schools Application to Volunteer. Completed forms must be returned to Staci in the Education Department (Room 308 Main) by May 1st. Martin Luther King Leadership Academy
Martin Luther King Leadership Academy is in need of volunteers for their after-school program for the fall. The after-school program runs from 3:30-5:30pm. To participate, please download the Camp Fire USA Volunteer Service Application and return to Staci in the Education Department (Room 308 Main) by May 1st. MLK is also looking for tutors for their 2-hour reading program for the fall. The program runs from 8:30-10:30AM (must be checked in and ready to work by 8:15am).
