What do you need to be successful in college? Career or personal counseling? Job placement? English as a Second Language (ESL) classes? Disability support services? Tutoring, workshops or labs? We've got all that and more. Our Career Development office includes professional tutors, placement testing and career planning resources. GRCC's Library combines up-to-date technology; online databases, DVDs and CD-ROM materials with quiet spaces for study. Research labs are available with Internet access, as well as audiovisual equipment and video-editing suites. Our Job Placement office can help you get ready for the job search with personal service in resume writing, cover letters, interviewing skills in addition to a well-stocked job bank. To round out our lifelong learning mission, there's the Older Learner Center. We've even got our own Campus Police to assist with crime prevention, escort service and emergency aid.
Urban Campus
Grand Rapids, West Michigan's largest metropolitan setting, comfortably combines big-city cultural arts, shopping and cinema with small-town neighborhoods and friendliness. Commuters can reach all four corners of the county in 20 minutes or less and Lake Michigan campsites and beaches are less than an hour away. Parking on campus is available, or zoom into a nearby bus lot and shuttle right to the center of the college.
