BETWEEN NOW AND FOREVER EXHIBIT
COMES TO GRAND RAPIDS COMMUNITY COLLEGE

     GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Sept. 4, 2002 - Between Now and Forever: A national traveling multimedia exhibit on loss, grief, healing and the resilience of the human spirit is coming to Grand Rapids Community College September 10–13, 2002. Grief workshops, films, and opportunities to talk to Hospice staff and volunteers will be available throughout the week.

     Embracing people from all walks of life, ages, races and religions, the exhibit includes a wide variety of personal perspectives on death and bereavement including entries related to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack.

     The exhibit, and programming associated with it, is sponsored GRCC’s Older Learner Center in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan, Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice, Hospice of Holland Home, Hospice of Michigan, Metropolitan Hospital, Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services, Spectrum Health, Saint Mary’s Mercy Medical Center and Visiting Nurse Hospice.

     Media are invited to attend all scheduled events, and are especially encouraged to attend the Opening Session from 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2002.
