The Gerald R. Ford Fieldhouse is a fully equipped, extremely vertical, and very customer friendly facility for events of all kinds. We are very experienced with everything from trade shows, dinners, and sporting events, to recreational events and for both public and private organizations. With a well seasoned staff, we are situated in downtown Grand Rapids, with easy access to hotels, restaurants, and the interstate freeway system. 3 on 3 Basketball GRCC's Student Life and Fieldhouse departments teamed up to hold an intramural Three on Three basketball tournament this semester. Students turned out in record numbers to partake in the two day double elimination tounrament. |
AAU Volleyball    The Ford Fieldhouse hosts multiple volleyball tournaments during the year. The facility can accomodate four full courts which can be taylored to suit the needs of any team or organization. |

Gilda's Club "Fundango"    Gilda's Club has been hosting Fundango at the GRCC Ford Fielhouse for years. Families come to partake in many fun activities while honoring cancer survivors and those who were lost by rasing funds and participating in auctions, cake walks, and a multitude of other family friendly events. |
Latino Youth Conference    GRCC's Annual Latino Youth Conference allows for Latino students from area schools to join us here to celebrate their Latino heritage and culture through awareness, activism and education. |
Celebrate Nurses    The Celebrate Nurses function is a retreat of sorts for area nurses. Vendors from various health organizations and related industries come in to offer professional nurses everything from new uniforms to massages. |
GRCC Softball Clinic    GRCC's Softball team holds clinics for younger players from around the area. The talented athletes and coaches demonstrate individually and within groups strategies for camp goers to improve thier game. |
Airborne Gymnastics    For the second time, GRCC hosted the Airborne Gymnastics meet sponsored by Kentwood Gymnastics. Hundreds of participants partake over two days in a spectacular showing of grace, power, and raw athleticism. |
GRCC's Family Matters    GRCC Family Matters is a community outreach program to put local families and organizations in touch with each other in one place. Thousands of people attent every year. There are games for children to play, and amazing resouces for parents to become familure with. |
Raider/USA Wrestling Tournament    The first annual Raider/USA Wrestling tournament was held this March. Over one-hundred wrestlers participated in the two day Greco-Roman and Freestyle tournament. |
Medical Technology Show GRCC's Ford Fieldhouse hosts many trade shows throughout the year. This event highlighted progressive technology in the medical field. We look forward to seeing them next year! |
Men's Basketball Recruiting Day GRCC's Men's basketball team held a basketball recruiting day to help bring out some real talent for the 2009-2010 season. Athletes from the Great Lakes Region came and brought thier A-Game for coach Selmon. |
Women's Basketball Recruiting    The women's basketball program hosted a recruiting day in hopes of finding some new local talent. Players from all over the area attended. |
Football Clinic    Coaches put on a spring football clinic at GRCC to teach out local youth athletes the fundimentals of the game. |
MLK Celebration    Every year the GRCC Ford fieldhouse hosts the intiail portion of the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration. Thousands of GRCC's students, staff and faculty join with as many local school children to march through downtown Grand Rapids in honor of Dr. King and to continue to keep his dream alive. |
Football Signing Day
Each year GRCC's football coaches scour the region and country to bring in the most talented players they can find. This sping the staff put on our first signing day presentation highlighting our newest recruits for the 2009 season. |
GRCC Commencement    Each year the GRCC Fordfieldhouse hosts the GRCC commencement where we honor our graduates' latest achievement of graduating from College. Congrats to all of you! |
