Kent County Resource Roadmap
on Successful Aging (Updated 2003 Version Now Available)The GRCC Older Learner Center in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan, Heart of West Michigan United Way’s 2-1-1, and Senior Neighbors, Inc. have produced an updated version of the “Kent County Resource Roadmap on Successful Aging.” This manual was designed to educate and assist older adults, their families, caregivers, the emerging old of tomorrow (baby boomers) and the professional community of aging network providers in Kent County on the issues, needs, resources, and systems that affect older persons. It is hoped that this manual serves as a type of Roadmap, helping to direct those in need to the information and resources that will allow them to successfully age-in-place within our community.
