This is our Second Annual Vegetarian Awakening Conference and with the success of our first conference, I'm willing to bet that this conference will be the best vegetarian conference you have ever attended! This event is taught by vegetarian chefs and authors, but you do not have to be a chef to enjoy and learn.
We have worked hard to create a very special conference with a unique venue. We have invited the top vegetarian chefs from all over the United States, to help teach you new techniques. We have asked each chef to use their personal style to create demonstrations of their signature cuisine. New to this year each chef will have their own demonstration time and you will be able to see all presenters. We have also asked each of them to take part in several panel discussions regarding the direction of this great new American cuisine.
These thought-provoking sessions offer an opportunity to examine new ideas, learn about current trends and hone your own knowledge and skills. The conference also provides opportunities to showcase our chef team’s efforts to help bring vegetarian cuisine into the mainstream of American dining.
But there is a lot more to the Vegetarian Awakening Conference than just workshops – there is great food! We have planned menus and tasting sessions, which would simply not be possible without the talents of these very dedicated chefs. We want you to have fun and discover new taste and flavors!
This year’s event will be even more exciting than last year, because the chefs will be joined by two very dynamic personalities within the vegetarian community. I am proud to announce that Dr. T. Colin Campbell (Author of the China Study) and Dr. John McDougall( Author of Ten National Best Selling Books), will be presenting a special Health and Wellness session to promote the benefits of a vegan lifestyle endorse by their programs.
The Vegetarian Awakening Conference is truly a one-of-a-kind event for home chefs and professionals. Nowhere else will you find the same depth and diversity of thinking about food, presented in a forum devoted to examining and expanding the future of vegetarian cuisine. This is the only vegetarian event entirely taught by vegetarian chefs. All of the participating chefs are dedicated to the advancement of vegetarian cuisine and to the goal of educating people to the height which this cuisine might rise.
