Career Direction Workshop
(small group of 5-7)
An intense 2 1/2 hourCareer Direction Workshop (CDW) is offered repeatedly throughout the year. This CDW activity combines lectures, visuals, verbal interchanges, written exercises, an occupational interest survey, a general interpretive overview and recommendations. Upon completion, each participant should have both a general awareness of how to establish and maintain appropriate life direction along with having identified at least one potentially suitable career cluster to explore further. A small set of materials will be provided to each participant. Individuals who are not sure about what career or major to pursue or about life direction, in general, should find this workshop helpful. NOTE: For maximum benefit, particpants should plan to follow-up on recommendations provided. The workshop is free for GRCC students. Non-students are charged $50.00 (If interested, a fee waiver can be requested).
