Adult Education

Adult Education is a great place to learn and build your skills for college or work. It does not matter how old you are, what language you speak, or how much education you have. Adult Education can help you get from where you are, to where you want to go.

We are located in downtown Grand Rapids and also have five regional sites in the surrounding area where people from all over can find a friendly place to build their skills; from learning English, building computer skills, getting a workforce certificate, to preparing for the citizenship test, and college. We also partner with Huntington Bank to provide Financial Literacy classes to our students.

We partner with Grand Rapids Public Schools (GRPS) to offer a high school completion program, but GRCC no longer offers GED preparation courses and is not an Official GED Testing Center™. Please contact GRPS at (616) 819-2734, or Wyoming Public Schools at (616) 530-7500 if you are interested in preparation courses. You may also contact Beckwith School at (616) 819-3259 for testing site information.

Our programs are funded by Michigan Workforce Development Agency which meet all federal and state guidelines.

Explore the program you are interested and learn why GRCC is the best choice for so many students in West Michigan.
