Our required placement tests are computerized assessments designed to help identify your basic skill level in math, reading and English. The math assessment is administered through the ALEKS PPL test, and the English and reading comprehension test is administered through Accuplacer. The Levels of English Proficiency Test is only required for permanent residents of the US whose first language is not English. These placement tests identify your strengths and weaknesses in these subjects, and help us determine which math and English courses you are ready to take. The placement tests are not pass or fail, but the results will determine which math and English courses you will take and placement is mandatory.
