Welcome to the website for Grand Rapid Community College's new Academic Governing Council! At the end of the Fall 2005 semester, all full time faculty and academic administrators were asked to vote on the proposed amendments to the Academic Senate bylaws, including creation of the Academic Governing Council. An 88% yes vote carried the motion. More detail on the vote and supporting comments are available.
