Outstanding Biology Student Award

The Biological Sciences awards it's highest honor each spring with the Outstanding Biology Student Award.

The requirements for consideration are the following:

  • Courses taken; a breadth of biological study experience
  • Cumulative grade point average
  • Extra-curricular contributions at GRCC (dept. or otherwise)
  • Community outreach engagement
  • Leadership skills

The student is honored with recognition and a plaque at the Leadership Banquet on campus in the spring. In addition, their name is added to the list of Outstanding Biology Students found on the plaque on the 3rd floor of the Biological Sciences Department.
