GRCC - Lawrence Tech Architectural Design Partnership Topic of Wednesday Presentation

Glen LeRoy, dean of the College of Architecture at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) will speak here on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 6:00 P.M. in the Applied Technology Center Auditorium.  A unique regional partnership, since 2010, between GRCC and LTU has made it possible for our students to obtain an Associates in Architectural Design and then transfer to LTU, in Southfield, MI, to complete a Masters of Science in Architecture.

LeRoy is both an architect and urban planner and has extensive experience working in these areas throughout the U.S. and the world. He has also, taught an Allied Design Studio for Lawrence Tech in Paris, France. He is a “Fellow,” at American Institute of Architects and at American Institute of Certified Planners.

LeRoy will discuss the partnership in general and specifically the Integrated Design Studio being offered by LTU at GRCC. This studio is offered in conjunction with the new Architectural Design Associate degree offered by GRCC.  The partnership allows a student taking both the Integrated Design Studio and the Architectural Design Associate degree to transfer to Junior status at Lawrence Tech and complete the Master of Architecture program.

This event is free and open to the public.
