About the Communications Department
The purpose of the Communications Department is to uphold and maintain Grand Rapids Community College’s brand of excellence, affordability and access for all. To create and facilitate both internal and external communication, and ensure our messages support and further the mission, vision, values and strategic outcomes of this institution.
This department provides services for both the college and the Grand Rapids Community College Foundation - a separate 501c(3) entity.
Grand Rapids Community College is fortunate to have within the college all the resources - graphic design, printing, media services and technologies - necessary to communicate with stakeholders. The Communications Department directs the use of these internal resources to offer the full complement of services of a marketing, advertising and public relations agency.
