They help prepare you for a successful career by taking learning out of the classroom. A lot of this hands-on instruction takes place in labs, and internships are commonly available.
The Applied Technology Department consists of three occupational areas: Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, and Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC).
The department prepares students for careers in the manufacturing and service industries. Positions held by Applied Technology graduates include electrician, industrial maintenance technician, machine repair technician or HVAC installer, fabricator or repair technician.
