Rosario joined the Counseling and Career Center in 2003. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, an MA in Counseling in Higher Education and is currently working on her doctorate in Educational Leadership at Western Michigan University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She also received training as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF). Before coming to GRCC, she served as a counselor at Grand Valley State University.

She helps students with academic advising, career counseling and personal counseling. She works closely as a liaison with Grand Valley State University, Michigan State University and the University of Michigan. She also works closely with GRCC's Teacher Child Development/Education Department and Biological Sciences and Physical Sciences Department.

During her free time, she volunteers in a reading tutoring program in a local elementary school, actively participates in her church and spends time with family and friends.
