Student Evaluation of Adjunct Faculty Members
Adjunct faculty members administer standardized student questionnaires in every section during each semester that he/she teaches until he/she has taught at least one semester in each of three academic years. After an adjunct faculty member has completed at least one semester in each of three academic years, he/she will administer standardized student questionnaires in one section in during each semester. The faculty member may opt to administer questionnaires to additional sections.
A faculty member may also choose to collect additional feedback from students during the class. This additional collection can occur through use of other questionnaire tools, through classroom discussion or other methods.
Classroom Observation Evaluation
Adjunct faculty member may be evaluated on his/her classroom performance. Special cases will be coordinated between the faculty member and his/her Evaluator.
Adjunct faculty members may wish to complete an FGIP, portfolio and self-evaluation. An interest faculty member should contact his/her Evaluator for more information.
