Me? Study Abroad?
by John Longchamps, GRCC Student
Yes, you!
Regardless of your path vocationally or educationally, you will no doubt
encounter and learn from many things that will supplement your preparedness for
our ever-globalizing world during your trip abroad. Immersing yourself in a
foreign culture, with its language, traditions, and history will offer an
international perspective, sought after in modern-day business and
sociopolitical facets.

GRCC, [like many colleges and universities] offers study abroad programs to various countries, to its students and non-students alike. There classes adjoined to the trips themselves to prime the travelers on the nation that they wish to embark. If interested in a particular trip, it would be advantageous to start making arrangements as soon as possible.
Despite the school you may attend, get in there and make an appointment with faculty involved in a particular trip, they will be more than willing to answer any questions.

Fellow students along for the journey will have varying knowledge and interests, it is likely that you will make strong bonds with others over a short period of time. Getting to know your fellow travelers is just as edifying and enjoyable as getting to know a foreign culture. These are relationships that could potentially blossom into future business ties, you will be encountering a entirely new landscape with your fellow students, this is bound to create a fresh dynamic of excitement and learning.
