INTERLIBRARY LOAN (ILL)
Welcome to the GRCC Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Services Page. ILL allows members of the GRCC community to borrow materials that aren't available in the GRCC Library. To use this service, please follow the steps below.
Articles
Before requesting an article through ILL:
- Check our Journal List for the periodical title you need.
- Use FirstSearch to locate and request your citation.
- If neither of the first two methods works, you may use this request form.
Books
Before requesting a book through ILL:
- Check RaiderCat: the online catalog for the title you need.
- If your book isn't displayed, click the MelCat button at the top of the page. When you find your title in MeLCat click on “Get this for me!”. Select your home library from the pull-down menu and click the Submit button. On the following screen, enter your last name in the top box and your Raider ID in the box below. You'll be notified when the item arrives. Most items arrive at the Periodicals Desk within 3-5 business days. Let us know if your phone number changes!
- Use WorldCat to locate books you don't find in RaiderCat or MelCat. When you locate the book in WorldCat, click on its title.
