Multimedia Classroom Technology for TeachingThere are many classrooms on campus with multimedia capabilities in the classroom! If you are teaching in a room with a "black box" in the corner, or an instructor podium with a computer, VCR, or other A/V equipment, you are likely teaching in a Multimedia Classroom. Please review the how to guides (in the menu to the right) for instructions on how to use the equipment.
Classroom Technology Update - Multimedia Podiums On September 1, Interim Provost Boyer notified faculty that a few last minute technology related issues needed to be resolved in 18 classrooms in the Main Building. On Wednesday, September 6, the Learning Academy was notified that newly renovated rooms on 5th Floor Main were ready for use and for training faculty. Laptop User Tips: 1) No Display: If you have your laptop connected to a projector, the correct source selected on the switcher (laptop), and still no image appears, the problem is likely that the video out port on your computer is not activated. To activate the video port on your computer, use the instructions below:
2) Display Screen Size Problem: If your screen on your laptop is not matching the size of the screen on the projector, you may need to reset your screen size. To fix the display settings, use the instructions below:
