Cynthia Bristol

Mrs. Bristol is an instructor in Applied Piano, Class Piano and Music Appreciation at Grand Rapids Community College. In addition, she maintains a piano studio in her home. Many of her studentshave received scholarships for summer study at Blue Lake and Interlochen Music Camps and touniversities to continue their music education. Mrs. Bristol has a Bachelor of Music degree in organ performance and graduate studies in organ at Western Michigan University. She earned a Master of Music Degree from Western Michigan University in piano performance with cognates in Music Theory and Music History. She is a recipient of music scholarships and is a member of Phi Kappa Lambda. Mrs. Bristol is active as a performer, adjudicator and clinician. She is a church Musician serving as organist/pianist and director of Children's Choirs and Instrumental Ensembles. She has held executive positions on the boards of Piano Teachers Forum of Grand Rapids and St Cecilia Music Society where she is a performing member.
