Alumni Events and Performance
This year on April 18th, 2008 the music department at GRCC will present the 60th performance of Musical Moods. To help us celebrate sixty years of Musical Moods I would like to invite you to join us in the audience and then on stage at the East Kentwood High School Auditorium for a very special musical Finale conducted by Albert P. Smith (Smitty), former GRCC Music Department Chair. A dress rehearsal of the Finale will take place at 7:00pm on Thursday night April 17th. So bring your instrument and your voice and join us as we end this 60th Musical Moods performance with a very exiting massed number featuring our college choir, orchestra, wind ensemble and most importantly, YOU!
Attached is an outline of activities inviting you to join us before your performance at the Musical Moods Concert.
We want to be able to include your name and the years you attended GRCC in the program so please respond by March 18, 2008 either by email to our Music Department Secretary, Eva Johnson at ejohnson@grcc.edu or by calling (616) 234-3940.
Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Musical Moods won't be the same without you, so I hope that you'll make every effort to be with us and your classmates on April 18th, 2008. Here's another way you can help us to be sure we include as many alumni as possible; please share this information with any GRCC Alumni you know who may not currently live in the West Michigan Area or who may have lost touch with GRCC.
