College Statement on Recent Crisis

March 18, 2005 - Yesterday afternoon the college received a bomb threat which our Campus Police felt was a "credible threat." College leadership decided to close campus as a proactive safety measure.

The college leadership wishes to assure you that this action was not taken lightly.

Our buildings were swept by area police forces who came together to accomplish the work quickly. Bomb-sniffing dogs were also on the scene. We were able to give an all-clear within a short time, however, an investigation is still underway.
