GRCC Students Help Out Steepletown Neighborhood Center - Computer Tech Class Gets Hands-on Experience

Students taking the Job Training Computer Support Technician course at GRCC will get some real-world training while helping out the community when they install new computers at the Steepletown Neighborhood Services Center.

The students will be setting up a computer lab in the basement of the Steepletown Neighborhood Services on Thursday, October 27, from 9-3 p.m.  It will be the second time in six years that GRCC instructor Mark Dodd has overseen a computer installation at the center.  Dodd said the installation will benefit both the students and the community.
