Capitalism and Greed on Trial in GRCC Students' State Debut With "Paragon Springs" - GRCC Players Offer Affordable Entertainment

GRCC Players, a group of GRCC theater students, is ready for the curtain to go up on their first presentation of the 2011/2012 season with Paragon Springs by Steven Dietz, and directed by GRCC Theater Program Director Tom Kaechele, with GRCC Alum Robert Karel as assistant director.

The cast and crew include 11 GRCC Students: Carl Bolthouse, Cassandra Fortin, Ben Holton, Kendra Jones, Kilee King, James Krouse, Henry Marcusse, Danny Orris, Aubrey Pierzchala and Kyle VanDyke. The The stage manager is Rachel Spring-Frank. 

The GRCC Players describe their production as “…a highly theatrical re-imagining of Ibsen's An Enemy of the People.

Director Tom Kaechele says, “The play deals with the personal price one can pay for standing up for moral justice."
