Online
Delivered over the Internet through Blackboard®. If you've never taken an online course at GRCC, you should take the Online Student Readiness Survey and tips for success provided by the Michigan Community College Association's Virtual Learning Collaborative (MCCA VLC). Once registered, students can complete an online orientation (required by some instructors). In some cases instructors will hold a live orientation session on campus where they will go over the details of taking their course online. If an orientation is scheduled for your course, a letter will be sent to you explaining the place and time for you to meet. It is very important for fist-time online students to attend one of these orientations to make sure they can get logged in to their Blackboard session and learn how to navigate the course.GRCC offers many courses online. Hybrid
Hybrid classes are online course that includes scheduled classroom instruction. Scheduled classroom instruction shall not exceed fifty percent of the contact hours for the course. For a list of GRCC hybrid courses available this semester, please visit the Online Student Center.
