Preparing your student for college

Getting ready early makes a difference. Help your student make smart choices now to start on educational and career tracks that match your student's skills and interests. Learn about all the options and how your student can achieve his or her goals.

Getting Started

A time for change and letting go

The decision your student has made to attend college is one of life's biggest decisions. College is also a time of transition for everyone; students, parents, and family members.

Parents and guardians play an important role in their student's academic and personal success in college. They guide, encourage, inform and support their student during different times and in various ways.

Our faculty and staff are dedicated to student success. If you or your student have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act(FERPA)

Restricts access to your student's records even if they are under 18. In college, regardless of age or who pays the tuition, the student has exclusive rights to his or her school records.
