Graphic Services

We work with clients to develop the most creative, effective and budget-sensitive solutions for printed materials and signage. What kind of materials are we talking about? We conceptualize, organize and design promotional and collateral brochures, special event materials, identities (logos) and business systems, newsletters and flyers, forms and applications, direct mail materials, PowerPoint presentations, signage and banners. Since each project is unique and serves a specific purpose, we plan an appropriate visual direction to meet the goals of that particular project.

People who desire professional, economical and innovative solutions come to Media Solutions. We work with departments, organizations, partners and friends of Grand Rapids Community College, and occasionally with groups outside of the College.

Print Solutions

Printing Services offers a wide variety of printing and imaging services that have been developed with our customers in mind. Our primary mission is to provide you with quality printed material, delivered when you need it, at a reasonable cost. We take a great deal of pride in making you look good.

Our staff is well trained and highly motivated to work with you to help you plan your project, get it ready for print (often with the help of Graphic Services), select just the right paper and ink colors for your message, and then see it through to completion and delivery. If you need one, we can provide you with an estimate of costs before we print your job and see it through to completion.

Our primary customers are the students, faculty and staff of Grand Rapids Community College. We also work closely with many school districts, nonprofit organizations, foundations and governmental agencies, as well as area commercial printers

Estimates

We use advanced printing management software to provide you with an accurate estimate of the cost of your project before we proceed. We don’t like surprises, and we don’t want you to be surprised when you get the bill.

What’s the cost for several different quantities? What if I change the ink color or add another color? What if I change the paper or add pages? All this information, and much more is quickly available from our estimating system and will often allow us the opportunity to suggest alternatives or ideas that could reduce your costs. Often, small changes in a job can make significant changes in the cost. Simply fill out one of our order forms to begin the process.

Printing is a very detailed business. Even the slightest error or omission can render a printed piece unusable. For that reason, our order forms ask for a lot of information.

We work with our forms all the time, so we know them well, and we understand that you may not. Just ask one of our customer service representatives for assistance. They will be happy to help you fill out the form, and help you understand what all those details really mean, and how it affects the finished product.
