Transfer Fair

Representatives from GRCC’s major transfer school in Psychology and Social Work will be here to answer student questions. The list includes: Grand Valley State University, University of Michigan, Ferris State University, Western Michigan University, and Central Michigan University.

Career Fair

In addition, local employers will be here to talk about career opportunities related to Psychology, Social Work, and Gerontology.

National Honors Society for Psychology

1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Psi Beta, The National Honor Society for Psychology in the Community College will be on hand to discuss participation in the chapter.

Academic Advising-Individual Advising Drop-In Sessions

8:30am - 4:00pm
3rd Floor White Hall

During this time, students can meet with a professor in the Psychology Department to:
•Develop a schedule for Winter Semester 2017.
•Decide which classes are best for your transfer or career goals.
•Ask questions about career options in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Gerontology, or related fields.

For students in PY-100, this time will allow them to connect with a faculty advisor to discuss career goals, selection of a major, and their next step toward being successful in college.

If you cannot attend the drop-in sessions, you can make an individual appointment to meet with a faculty member depending on your major.
