COMMUNITY The ASLC works from the framework of developing Community Partnerships with few community organizations on the basis of creating higher quality learning experiences. Partnerships are designed to evolve over a 3-year period allowing for an increase in communication, better planning and coordination, and the ability to identify and measure agreed upon outcomes. Community Partners have the ability and are encouraged to participate in all program areas offered by the ASLC: Academic Service-Learning, Community Service Work-Study, AmeriCorps (MSS), and Volunteering at GRCC. Why Partnership? Current Community Partners: Palmer Elementary, GRPS If you would like more information on how to become a community partner, please contact: Mike Schavey Interim Director/Community Liaison at 234-4180 or mschavey@grc.ed |
