Most leaders in business, education and government would agree that creating a culture where people feel wanted and included is one of their biggest challenges. These sessions are designed to invite participants to consider their individual and collective roles for creating a culture of belonging.

About Rev. Dr. Jamie Washington, M.Div., Ph.D.
Dr. Jamie Washington serves as the president and founder of the Washington Consulting Group, a multicultural organizational development firm out of Baltimore. In October 2015, The Economist named Dr. Washington’s consulting group as one of the top 10 Global Diversity Consultants in the world.
Dr.Washington has served as an educator, administrator and consultant in higher education for over 30 years. He is also the president and a founder of the Social Justice Training Institute. Dr. Washington serves as visiting assistant professor of Religion and Social Ethics at Winston Salem State University.
Known as “The Engagement Specialist,” he sees himself as an instrument of change. Dr. Washington serves on the board of Many Voices: A Black Church Movement for Gay & Transgender Justice; Campus Pride; and Beyond Diversity. He also serves as a trustee for the American College Personnel Association.
Dr. Washington earned his B.S. degree from Slippery Rock State College, and a double Masters’ of Science degrees from Indiana University/Bloomington. He holds a Ph.D. is in College Student Development, from the University of Maryland College Park and a Masters of Divinity from Howard University School of Divinity, and is the co-pastor of Unity Fellowship.
He is a writer, speaker, coach, consultant, teacher and trainer. Dr. Washington is also the proud grandfather of five and great uncle to three.
