Who We are:

Workforce Development is comprised of approximately 124 full-time, 150 part-time faculty and 78 staff, the School of Workforce Development is committed to the delivery of innovative and responsive workforce learning programs and services. We strive to ensure students/customers are prepared for current and future employment and lifelong learning.

Who We serve:

Approximately 47% of GRCC students are enrolled in credit based occupational programs; additionally, we serve significant segments of the workforce, over 10,000 in 2003, through job training programs, apprenticeship programs, customized training opportunities and community partnership programs.

What We do:

The School of Workforce Development offers instruction (credit, non-credit, customized delivery, and job training) apprenticeships (credit and non-credit), employment services and serves as a workforce clearinghouse (Work First and Partnership for Adult Learner). Currently offering 17 programs, with 32 Associate Degree options, and 23 Certificate options, our goal is to evaluate all options available to students for lifelong learning, and develop additional programs which best meet the workforce needs in our community.
