About Me
Maria is a native of Niagara Falls, New York, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Fredonia ('08), and her Master of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Buffalo State College ('13). She's had the opportunity to work in a variety of different roles and areas of academic and student services, and has been an Academic Advisor since 2015. Before settling down in Grand Rapids and joining GRCC in 2018, she's worked at various types of colleges and universities in 3 other states and Canada. Maria feels that her diverse experience allows her to connect with students and assist them along their educational journey towards reaching their goals. In her free time she loves traveling, watching sports, reading, and spending time with her husband, step-daughter and dog.

- Tuesday: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Thursday: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30-11:30 a.m.

- I will be offering Drop-In Texting Advising times most weeks to answer (quick) questions on the spot. I won't be posting the drop-in texting schedule, but will send a text out to my students letting them know before it starts.
