Inclement Weather Messages
Kent County - All
The message “GRCC Kent County – Closed – DAY & EVENING Classes” means cancelation of all GRCC day and evening classes and activities at its downtown campus, Tassell M-TEC, and Kent County regional sites (i.e. Byron Center).
Kent County – Regional Sites
The message “GRCC at Byron Center – Day Time Classes Cancelled” or "GRCC at Byron Center - Evening Classes Canceled" means GRCC has decided to cancel all of their daytime or evening activities and will not hold its classes at the high school. This determination is normally made before 6:00 a.m. for daytime classes and before 3:00 p.m. for evening classes.
If Byron Center Public Schools has canceled daytime operations, but GRCC can still hold its daytime course then GRCC will hold its courses at the high school. Even if the high school has canceled its evening activities GRCC may still hold its evening courses.
