Dr. Greg Forbes, a native of California, became a full-time faculty member at GRCC in 1993. He earned his A.S. from Los Angeles Pierce College, his B.S. in Natural Resources Management from California Polytechnic State University, his M.S. in Biological Sciences from California Polytechnic State University, and his Ph.D. from the Department of Zoology as well as the Department of Tropical Environmental Studies & Geography from James Cook University in Australia. Currently, he teaches Anatomy & Physiology and our Biology Major's Biological Diversity courses. His areas of expertise are in organismal biology, evolutionary biology, and human anatomy & physiology. Greg's personal interests are whitewater paddling, aviation, and biking.
