Basketball player Mya Jordan signs with Siena Heights University

Basketball player Mya Jordan has signed to continue her academic and athletic career at Siena Heights University.

The 2017 Godwin Heights High School graduate had a very successful sophomore season as a Raider. She started in 30 of the team's 31 games and averaged 26.6 minutes per game. She was ranked first in the MCCAA in blocked shots (101), seventh in rebounds with 264 (8.5 per game), and 14th in steals with 59. Jordan also was also first on the team,  shooting 40.5 percent from the floor, second in scoring (12.4 per game) and fourth in free throw shooting (65.5 percent). She was named All-Conference Second team as well as All-Defensive Team.

Jordan joins a strong Siena Heights team that finished 23-8 overall, 15-5 in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference and was receiving votes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics women's basketball 2018-19 poll.
