Congratulations to sophomore guard Curtis Davison, who was honored by the NJCAA as the Division II National Player of the Week.
Davison helped propel the men’s basketball team to the upset of then-No. 1 ranked Ancilla College on Feb. 21, by scoring 38 points — including the go-ahead three-pointer with 6.5 seconds left in the game. Later in the week, he scored 30 points in a blow-out win over Kellogg Community college.
In December, he was the nation’s leader in scoring for Division II.
