Linda is the Program Developer/Manager for Health Programs in the Workforce Training Department. Her responsibilities include:
- partnering with area health employers to design education programs to meet their needs
- identifying skill gaps and coordinating refresher workshops that give health professionals CE credits
- working with certification organizations to ensure that programs meet appropriate standards.
Linda serves as the Program Director and Practicum Coordinator for the Medical Assistant Program. She is certified as a Registered Medical Assistant and is a Certified Business Solutions Professional in the State of Michigan.
Prior to working for GRCC, Linda was employed in the non profit sector creating and implementing effective employee education and served as a consultant on the topic of reducing incidents of seclusion and restraint in the health care setting.
Linda has a Master of Public Administration degree from Grand Valley State University with an emphasis on Public Management. Her Bachelor of Arts degree was earned at Calvin College with a major in Psychology and minor in Social Work.
Linda is interested in health education, skill building, program management, public and nonprofit leadership, and empowering others to meet their life goals.
