Michael Michewicz has taught applied saxophone at Grand Rapids Community College for the past five years, and has taught music to students of all ages in the Grand Rapids area for the past fifteen. He received his Bachelor of Music Education and Masters in Saxophone performance from Central Michigan University. In addition to performing classical and jazz saxophone music, Michael has also performed with many internationally acclaimed musicians including Jon Faddis, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Louis Bellson, and Maria Schneider. Michael Michewicz is currently active as a freelance musician in the Mid West.
