We're Going Virtual! 

Things are different this year, that's for sure, but different isn't always bad!  This year our Open Enrollment will be happening online through PlanSource.  We're very excited to change from our big enrollment packets to this new streamlined, greener, and more efficient way of doing things.  

Open Enrollment starts October 26 and runs through November 13, 2020, at 5 p.m.

That’s right, we’ve added an extra week to the Open Enrollment period this year to allow more time to navigate these changes. The annual open enrollment period is the time during the year (without a qualifying event), when you have the opportunity to enroll or change your medical plans. Open Enrollment changes are effective January 1, 2021.

Through the PlanSource online benefit enrollment system you will be able to make all of your annual open enrollment elections. (Add dependents, change health plans, elect FSA or H.S.A.)

To Access your Open Enrollment Benefits you will need to login to the PlanSource enrollment system:

  • Log on to https://benefits.plansource.com
  • Username is your GRCC email
  • Password: Your Date of Birth in YYYYMMDD format.  For example:  December 31, 1999 would be 19991231

Important Health Insurance Information

The insurance rates increased by 7.15%. The PA 152 CAP has been increased by 3.3%. This increase was distributed by the State of Michigan in September and takes effect January 1, 2021. Employee deductions are twice per month and these changes start on the 1/8/2021 paycheck.

WMHIP Health Plan Options and Information:

For HSA health participants: HSA contribution limits are determined on a calendar/tax-year basis. During open enrollment, H.S.A. participants must complete a new H.S.A. payroll deduction form for the 2020 calendar year.

During this time, you may elect to participate in the Flexible Spending Account. If you are currently enrolled in the Flexible Spending Account, you must re-enroll each plan year to continue participating in the program.

Dental Vision Reimbursement Plan

Important Announcement: Change in Dental and Vision Reimbursement Benefit Vendor

 We are excited to announce that effective January 1, 2021 our dental and vision reimbursement benefit will be handled by Flex Administrators. This switch from ASR to Flex Administrators will provide you with access to your claims, year to date benefit balance, the option of setting up direct deposit for reimbursements, and the ability to file a claim through their portal!

Flex Administrators will send you a welcome email with instruction on creating your account. This will happen late December. You can create your account and have access to your claims and your Flex Administrators Dental/Vision Reimbursement Account on January 1, 2021.

Please note: The Dental and Vision Reimbursement Coverage is not changing. Coverage for dental and vision services will remain the same.

 

Effective January 1, 2021 Employee must submit dental and vision reimbursement claims to Flex Administrators.

You can e-mail, fax, mail or upload your reimbursement claims to Flex Administrators.

If you submit a claim by email you will receive an email response verifying that your claim was received. If you don’t receive confirmation within 5 minutes, please make sure you check your spam folder.

Direct Deposit

Flex Administrators offers the option of signing up for Direct Deposit. You can complete direct deposit enrollment once your online dental vision reimbursement account is created (late December). If you set up email notifications  preference, you will receive an email notification that your claim was processed and reimbursement will be sent via direct deposit.
