Child Care Provider Trainings

In Home Licensed Child Care providers meet monthly at the Early Childhood Learning Laboratory for peer support and training. Topics are selected by the providers and are relevant to the needs of In Home care providers. These meetings are FREE and open to all In Home provider; I hope you can join us! Community Play Groups

The play groups are intended to support those caring for children in the home in providing activities that enhance children’s growth and development and support kindergarten readiness.  They are open to all adults caring for young children—infant to kindergarten age; in addition to families, we especially encourage both licensed and unlicensed child care providers who care for family members, friends, or other children to attend. This is a great opportunity for the children to interact with other children, have play experiences that support their development, and for adults to connect with other adults caring for children.

The play groups last 90 minutes and include adult/child play with materials specifically selected to develop a wide range of skills, a story time, and a snack.
