Latino Youth Conference Call for Program Proposals

21st Annual Latino Youth Conference

The Latino Youth Conference (LYC) was created to encourage and motivate all youth to strive for academic and personal excellence. We hope that this conference will help our students understand that education is a gateway to success. This year’s conference will host nearly 800 8th grade students from several middle schools throughout Kent County.

  • Self-esteem/Coaching
  • STEM Fields Leadership
  • Leadership Development and Activism
  • Overcoming Adversities
  • Latina\o\x History & Culture

Proposal Submission Guidelines

  • Please submit proposals by Friday, January 17, 2020.
  • Presentation Sessions must be 45 minutes in length.
  • Please be advised that presenters and co-presenters will not receive honorarium or reimbursement for workshop session expenses.
