Starting at GRCC and transferring the the four-year university of your choice means you will graduate with less debt.

The GRCC Automotive Technology associate’s degree program will prepare you for the fast-paced, highly technical field of automotive care and repair. Here is a short list of the the modern technologies that you will study:
- Electronic fuel injection
- Turbocharging
- Rack and pinion steering
- Transaxles
- McPherson strut suspensions
- MOPAR Career Automotive Program (CAP) Local Chrysler training.
Get the skills you need to become a licensed Automotive Mechanic in the State of Michigan, which includes:
- Training necessary for certification in the eight of the required repair categories.
- Preparation for your Michigan Master Mechanic certification.
You will also be ready to take ASE
Go at your own pace
This flexible degree can be taken part-time with day or evening classes. If you plan to attend full-time you can graduate in two years.
