Have you been called for jury duty during the academic year? Trying to figure out how to manage that request while taking classes?
We recommend you submit a written request and a course schedule to the court, requesting a delay for your service to one of our break periods (or to summer). Once you've received a summons, you should make your request immediately.
The College makes no distinction between excused and unexcused absences, so if you choose to fulfill your service during the semester, you risk impacting your ability to successfully complete the semester.
