For years, students at Grand Rapids Community College, health club members and folks in the community have used and enjoyed the Ford Natatorium for both recreational purposes and GRCC classes. The pool has a constant temperature of 82.1 degrees.

It has hosted numerous high school and collegiate swim meets, Water Polo (and variations there of), Masters Swimming, GR Gators, health expo's and so much more. It has given folks from all walks of life the opportunity to swim for fitness and recreation, learn to swim, not to mention the water aerobics classes offered within the pool.
