The Guitar Ensemble provides guitarists with chamber music experience and fulfills the ensemble requirement for the Music Business degree. Students develop reading skills, technique, musicality, ensemble playing and improvisation. Repertoire ranges from Renaissance to jazz. The ensemble performs at all of the instrumental concerts, Musical Moods and has had rave reviews from audiences at its performances during Festival in downtown Grand Rapids each June.
