The Mariachi Ensemble rehearses and performs traditional and modern Mariachi music. Instrumentation for the group includes violin, guitarron vihuela, string bass or guitarron, trumpet,and concertina or accordion. The Mariachi ensemble is featured at many local festivals and does approximately 15 outreach concerts per year. You do not need to be a music major to play in the Mariachi Ensemble.
