Figuring out how to pay for groceries or healthcare on a student budget is tough. Did you know you might qualify for state assistance programs? Our very own GRCC/ DHHS Representative from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is coming to Student Life for hassle-free MI Bridges Drop-In Days! No appointments needed—just walk in!
What they can help you with:
- Food Assistance (SNAP/Bridge Card): Get money for monthly groceries.
- Healthcare Coverage: Find out if you qualify for free or low-cost health insurance.
- Emergency Cash & Utility Help: Get support for unexpected financial emergencies.
- Active Case Help: Already have a case? Bring your questions or submit missing paperwork directly.
Where: Student Life and Leadership Student HUB
When: Every Tuesday for Fall Semester | 1:00pm – 4:00pm
What to bring: Your smartphone/laptop, your student ID, and any proof of income (like recent pay stubs) if you want to apply on the spot!
