Consumer Information

The Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) of 2008 requires Colleges to share specific information that is intended to protect the integrity of education, enrolled and prospective students, and all members of the College and College community. This page has been created to fulfill Grand Rapids Community College's compliance with the disclosure requirements under Title IV. Title IV requires institutions participating in financial aid programs to disclose specified information to all prospective students.

GRCC is committed to remaining compliant with this law and invites you to take a few minutes to review this information, commonly referred to as Consumer Information. Below is a list of the disclosure requirements, and links to pages that contain the actual information and/or where to obtain the information. Some of the links refer to our Policies webpage.   • Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act
    • In compliance with the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act, GRCC’s report containing information regarding the College’s intercollegiate athletic program participation rates and financial support is available here. Information contained in the report includes the number of participants by gender for each team, operating and recruiting expenses, coaches’ salaries, revenues, and athletically-related student aid. In addition to the report’s availability here, paper copies are available and will be provided upon requests made to GRCC’s Student Affairs Office by contacting (616) 234-4101. A copy of the information contained in the report is also available online on the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education Equity in Athletics Disclosure website.
